This course is designed to provide HIPAA Privacy
training for all Licensed Clinical Staff, whether they work
in a hospital, clinical, priviate office, or home healthcare setting.
Included job categories are Laboratory Technicians, Psychology/Social
Workers, Technologists working in pathology, EEG/EKG, nuclear medicine,
radiology, surgery, Dental Hygienists, Dental Laboratory Technicians,
Emergency Medical Technicians, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants,
Physical/Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Speech-Language
Pathologists & Audiologists. This training is designed for any
licensed clinical professional that maintains electronic records
or billing information for their patients.
Educational Objective
Upon completion, the participant will be able to:

Understand the proper procedures for handling patient information.
Understand patient's rights to their health information.
