The Physician Course is designed to provide HIPAA
Privacy training to all healing professionals, whether they
work in a hospital, clinic, managed care, or private practice setting.
Included professions are Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathic
Medicine, Chiropractic Doctors, Naturopathic Doctors, Physician
Assistants, Acupuncturists, Psychiatrists, and Dentists. This training
is designed for any healing professional that works in a hospital,
care center, clinic or private practice that maintains electronic
records or billing information on their patients.
Continuing Medical Education - 3 CME Credits Included
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with
the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship
of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review
Physicians (ABQAURP) and WEBeLearning.
The American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review
Physicians designates this educational activity for a maximum of
3 hours in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition
Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit he/she
actually spent in the activity.
