Category: Nursing//Leadership, Facility:Banner Home Care ,Location: AZ-Gilbert (Banner Home Care), Department:Banner Home Care - Gilbert, Full-time weekdays in the Gilbert office.
Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer or the Regional Director of Home Care, the Director of Nursing is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the clinical care of a defined group of patient care/clinical areas. May also have responsibilities for non-clinical functions related to the clinical area(s). As the leader, will shape and interpret the standards required to ensure quality outcomes and a high degree of patient, physician and employee satisfaction Demonstrates the Expectations of Banner Leaders: 1) People Focused, 2) Customer Centered and 3)Results Oriented.
Qualifications: Current Arizona RN license, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field or equivalent experience, considerable experience with appropriate age specific patient population in the area of responsibility and at least two years of management experience. A Master’s degree in nursing or business is preferred. Must possess demonstrated flexibility in responding to the needs of multiple constituencies and a service-oriented philosophy. Must also possess demonstrated skill in problem analysis, project management, contract negotiation, conflict resolution and oral/written presentations.
