Category: Nursing//RN, Facility:Banner Desert Medical Center ,Location: AZ-Mesa (Banner Desert), Department:Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Shift: Days, 7a-730p. Minimum of 3 shifts/month, one of which has to be a weekend shift. Must have two years of experience in this speciality area to qualify for consideration.
Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with facility and departmental policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. The Registered Nurse utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of patients on his or her assigned unit. BHS Service Standards and support of healing environment are exhibited in all aspects of the Registered Nurse’s performance.
Qualifications: A current or temporary Arizona or other compact state RN licensure (or the ability to obtain one) is required. Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job, and demonstrates through behaviors and answers to job-related experiential questions. Minimum of two years experience is required. This position requires three shifts or 36 hours per month including one weekend shift per month.
