Category: Nursing//RN, Facility:Fairbanks Memorial Hospital ,Location: AK-Fairbanks, Department:Nursery, Full-time, weekends plus share of call, 8 hour shifts. Part-time , weekend plus share of call, 8 hour shifts.
Responsibilities: The RN provides patient care based on the nursing process. Patient care is impartial, regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, source of payment, sexual preference or beliefs. Patients of all ages are served including neonate and infant, pediatric and adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Independent judgment is used regarding priority of work, changes in patient condition, evaluating patient’s response to care and emergency situations. The RN strives for excellence in clinical practice, patient/family teaching and communication skills. Working as a Registered Nurse in PACU and a busy Out-Patient nursing department. PACU is an eight bed unit, staffed by ASPAN standards (averages 25-30 cases per day).
Qualifications: Banner Health employees are expected to adhere to Banner’s service standards and organizational values in all their interactions with Banner patients, other customers, and fellow employees. Must possess a current valid Alaska RN license with a current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and an Alaska RN License required.
