BE CAREFUL AT JOHN C. LINCOLN HOSPITAL in Phoenix, AZ. Have a family member or patient advocate with a medical background with you at all times. It’s a dangerous and potentially deadly place to go for even simple testing or medical care. I don’t think their "Magnet" status takes into consideration all of the hidden cases where they have endangered and/or caused the wrongful death of a patient. Those incident and occurrence reports, as they are known, are kept confidential - not even an attorney can get their hands on one.
Our beloved family member would be alive today had she not checked into John C. Lincoln North Mountain last month. The story is so horrible, I can’t even tell it yet, but she died an agonizing death within 3 days. They are caring on the outside and have great public relations, but they are ruthless and negligent on the inside.
Stick with a Banner Health organization - they actually have people in their administration that really care about patient safety and good quality care. I wish we would have chosen Banner over John C. Lincoln, but we didn’t know better at the time. I hope this information helps someone avoid the deadly mistake we made.
