Description

Appalachian Regional Healthcare System (ARHS) consists of, Blowing Rock Hospital, Charles A. Cannon, Jr. Memorial Hospital and Watauga Medical Center. In addition to the three hospitals that make up ARHS, the organization also incorporates Appalachian Regional Medical Associates, a group practice that provides physicians the option of employed physician status. Appalachian Regional Medical Associates is designed to be the healthcare home for the entire family, with physicians that have the knowledge and experience to care for all members of the family.

Behavioral Health Services are available at Cannon Memorial Hospital and Watauga Medical Center, where programs are designed to assist adults experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties. Many people fail to seek help for mental health problems because of fear of stigma, although mental health is just as important as physical health to the general well-being and it is just as common to have emotional difficulties as it is to have physical difficulties.
If you are experiencing problems and feel the need of help, please do not hesitate to call 828-737-7889 or 828-268-9454.
