On 1/24/2009 my daughter visited this facility with an ankle injury. She could not put any weight on the ankle, therefore could not walk. The "doctor" looked at the ankle, stated it looked like it was a sprane but was not really sure. No xrays were taken. The "doctor" suggested she not put weight on the ankle. No crutches were offered or suggested, no ankle brace was offered or suggested. It appears they expected her to walk out of their facility "without putting weight on the ankle."
On the facilities web site they state "We offer you the most up to date medical care that you can get. We are committed to give you the best care, with the personal touch of a dedicated and warm staff that will treat you with the respect you deserve. " I can only assume that the lousy care my daughter received was due to either: a) because she was a college student and would not know the questions to ask and insist on better care, b) the "doctor" that is committed and knowledgeable had the day off, c) they are in business to get as much money as they can from patients and insurance companies without performing the services.
