I would like to thank the ER staff at Genesis-Bethesda for their time and care to my husband. I have never seen him in so much back-pain. Dr. Beight and the nurses were very nice. I know from working 15 yrs in a hospital setting that it is not always easy. Until you walk in their shoes, you can't understand. Again thank you. God bless you all for your work.

My sisters brought my mother into the er after her doctor told them too. She has been imagining things and very confused. Well they ask her the day , who the president was and the year. Well she got two out of three right so she is fine. Well they said she is just what an 84 year old is suppost to act like. Well if they all act the way she does then I hate to be out around them. My grandmother lived to be 96 and she was very to herself till the day she died.I guess she has to get hurt or hurt someone . I feel this hospital doesn't care about anything or anyone they have to really help or they can't make any money on. I've decided I wouldn't take a poor dog to this hospital. My mom lives by herself by choice and she has dizzy spells too. But we can't get her help because she knows who the president is. She won't live with any of us. So if you care about your elderly parents do not take them to this hospital. By the way I was going to write a complaint on their website and they don't have a complaint site.

the absolute WORST emergency room EVER. my 9 month old daughter with a 2 inch gash in her forehead waited 6 HOURS in an EMPTY emergency room to get stitches. i went in the other night for severe back pain, again, sat in an EMPTY emergency room, was COMPLETELY ignored, so i left. and they still charged me for the visit! human beings arent supposed to treat each other like this!! DONT GO THERE!!

first time i was there, i took my 9 month old daughter who had a 2 inch gash above her eye from an accident. without another soul in the emergency room, it took 6 hours to stitch her up. no apologies, no nothing. never bothered to check in with us to see how she was doing. completely ignored us for 6 hours. UNACCEPTABLE.
i was in the ER the other night for severe back pain. again, i was ignored for 3 hours, again with no other patients in the ER. i got fed up and left. i figured id see my family doctor the next morning. (the only reason i went to the ER in the first place was because i was in so much pain, i couldnt wait until the next day to see a doctor) so, the ER is still charging me for the visit. even though i received NO CARE WHATSOEVER, theyre still charging me. i can not possibly say how LIVID i am about this. my advice, dont go to their ER. they have no idea what they are doing, and will take your money anyways.
