St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital located in Memphis, TN is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

St. Jude's "bench to bedside" approach to finding cures for the catastrophic diseases of childhood allows St. Jude patients more efficient access to the latest research findings available. Protocols are freely shared with physicians and healthcare institutions throughout the world.

Research efforts are directed at understanding the molecular, genetic and chemical bases of catastrophic diseases in children; identifying cures for such diseases; and promoting their prevention. Research is focused specifically on cancers, some acquired and inherited immunodeficiencies, sickle cell disease, infectious diseases and genetic disorders.

Being designated a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute is a prestigious accomplishment.
