Baylor Medical Center at Uptown, is a newly constructed surgical hospital replacing the Mary Shiels Hospital at the corner at 2727 E. Lemmon Avenue in Dallas, TX.
Baylor Medical Center at Uptown, is a joint venture between Baylor Health Care System (BHCS), United Surgical Partners International, and local physicians. Constructed on land adjacent to the former Mary Shiels Hospital, which was rebranded Baylor Medical Center at Uptown in August 2010, the new Baylor Uptown replaces this older facility.
