San Luis Care Center is located in Alamosa where once Ute Indians camped and traded along the Rio Grande River, surrounded by majestic Colorado Mountains in the world's largest alpine valley, the San Luis Valley. The Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve where the nation’s tallest Sand Dunes rise over 700 feet are nestled just to the Northeast.
