Radiation and Oncology dept. - 12/20/2011 07:42:23
Nina Pinard from Tacoma , WA.
I have been there twice and am still doing followups as well as seeing Dr Rutter and Dr. Chitaley in Radiation and the Oncology Dept.'s.
I would like you and everyone else to know that I have never received better treatment in my life. I am a Breast cancer patient and received a fairly new and different kind of radiation. I had what they call a S.A.V.I two times. The technicians, nurses, and doctors involved in my care are the best. They were very informative, caring, and responsive to my needs and fears. I would have no problem returning to you if need be. As a result of my care there and in the Multi Care system as a whole , my boyfriend has switched his care to Multi Care. They made and make me feel like family and that I am their only patient. Great bunch of people.

The above review by Mary & Don could be ours. From the time we arrived,we were almost treated like royalty buy the by the staff on the 7th floor cardiologist unit. They kept me informed as to my husbands progress of an anagram, then placing of a stint in his heart. Both the cardiology dr. and surgeon showed me exactly what was going on in his heart and what was being done about it. The staff was pleasant and personal, while giving him the best medical treatment. I have never seen so many staff concerned about both of us, in a hospital! (and I've seen a lot of them.) Hospital was very clean and staff whom cared for my husband, cleaned their hand upon entering the room!! The emergency room sounds like a nightmare and I hope those people who got the bad treatment went to director and complained.
To the 7th floor cardiology unit~~~ WAY TO GO~~~~ you were great!!

My wife and I went to the emergency room. She suffers from Allergies
and we explaind the only medicine that worked was Benadrl, but
the doctor gave us a different medicine which didnt' work. Now they send us a 1,000 hospital bill. This is a good looking hospital, but not impressed by service. The doctor, before seeing my wife was just wasting his time and playing with a nurse, and playing with a nurse so they are all new and young
people with the worst service.

Excellent Care - 10/27/2009 02:34:21
Mary and Don from Vader, Wa
I had the best care and treatment, I had to undergo a heart procdure, where the cardiologist performs a procedure called the heart arteriogram. First time at Tacoma General Hospital. I found all of the staff from the desk and reception area of the 7th floor helpful, treated me as though I were a family member. Nurses, Doctor's, everyone made the whole procedure go smoothly. My husband was waiting the Doctor went out and spoke to him the minute I was in the recovery room. He kept my husband updated, the nurses and workers in the waiting room took good care of my husband made it less stressful on him put him at ease, and not only treated me, but treated my husband as though we are family. Both my husband and I highly recommend our Cardiologist and on Thursday when I have a open heart surgery I have every confidence in my Specialist Surgeon that I am in the best hands and the best after care that is possible.
My Cardologist is Dr. Daniel Guerra, and my specialist is Dr. Graeve, I know I have the best care and Doctors possible.
