Among the criteria you should have on your site are cleanliness, responsiveness and courtesy. Dr. Federico Trilla Hospital in Carolina Puerto Rico was probably about the dirtiest medical facility I have ever seen. The staff claimed to know very little English, which I find hard to believe given results are all written in English. The staff was unresponsive. They had to rerun my lab work the night I went in for emergency - hemorraging. The sent me home with no medication and NO diagnosis. It took 47 days to retreive my results. They had no images from the ultrasound. Inside the emergency unit where I was given an IV was filthy - I've seen cleaner restrooms at gas stations. I left wondering what 3rd world country I had moved to. How do they wash up? As there is no hot water anywhere.
