Banner Lassen Medical Center, located in Susanville, California and near the foot of the scenic Sierra Nevada Mountains, is a 25 bed acute-care facility and serves the entire Northeastern California region with state-of-the-art healthcare.

Banner Lassen Medical Center located in Susanville serves Northeastern California and many visitors traveling to the area each year. The modern facility offers a wide variety of medical, surgical, obstetric and outpatient services normally only available in a much larger medical facility such as: MRI/CT- Ultrasound/Mammography - X-Ray – Laboratory - Infusion Center - Sleep Studies - EKG/EEG - 15 Private Rooms - 3 Birthing Suites - Inpatient/Outpatient Surgery - Emergency Room – Telemedicine - Banner Lassen Home Care - Honey Lake Hospice.

Susanville, Population 13,541 (year 2000), Elevation 4,200 feet, is the seat of Lassen County. Located about 90 miles northwest of Reno, NV, and 191 miles northeast of Sacramento, the town is linked through US 395, State 36 & 44 as well as Susanville Municipal Airport. Susanville is a great place to live, besides fresh air, low crime rate, no traffic problems, affordable housing and friendly neighbors, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains, browse unique shops, stroll along and admire the many wonderful murals and historical buildings or dine at one of our great restaurants.


Lassen County where the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains meet the Great Nevada Basin desert is an outdoor person's paradise. Forested plateaus, green mountain meadows covered with wild flowers, snow-capped peaks, lakes, rivers and trails in addition to a vast open agricultural valley are all part of Lassen County's 4,547 square miles, an area the size of Connecticut. Because of the terrain, there's something here for everyone. You can water ski or fish for the world-renowned trout at Eagle Lake surrounded by mountains full of standing pine, camp in high lake areas with streams, ride horses and off-road vehicles on beautiful expanses of the desert, visit Lassen Volcanic National Park or ride the Lassen Scenic Byway. The popular Bizz Johnson Trail along the Susan River starts at the old Railroad Depot in the City of Susanville.
