My brother is at Inland Valley in Wildomar right now. He was admitted two weeks ago with what urgent care stated was a stroke or anuerysm. After not able to be given an mri in there machine, they discharged him stating there was nothing they could do. Now, he is halucinating along with horrible headaches, and oh by the way, his dr. has him on vicodan. He was taken by ambulance back to Inland Valley last night, told he would receive an open MRI today, and see a neurosurgeon this evening. Well it is 8:45pm and now we are being told (after asking) that the mri is not even scheduled until 12:30 tomorrow afternoon. Well, given enough delatin, he is feeling fine, but we still dont know what is wrong with him.
My brother said that he had a hard time sleeping in the emergency room (arrived at 5:00, in an ambulance, and finally got a room at 3:00), not because of the patients, but because of the staff talking all night.
My daughter in law almost died there, and is currently involved in a lawsuit against the hospital. my father, who died of cancer last year, was released dehydrated, really adding to his agony, my son, who had meningitis...well if we had an alternative, we would definitely go there, but it really sucks that Inland Valley is our closest hospital and the higher ups really dont care about us people.

The hospital staff is rude and sarcastic. VERY inconsiderate of the patient needs and seemed uncaring. When asked for water, staff replied "don't you have any in your room?". When in labor I asked about breathing technique to help with the pain, staff replied accusingly"didn't you take birth prep classes? It's going to be difficult for you to learn Now!" and finally was given some advice to breathe slowly in through nose and out of mouth. Patient not allowed to have children visit, but a Doctor brought his two small children who were left to run around in the hall and make a lot of noise and was disturbing to patients trying to rest and recover, not to mention the possibility of spreading sickness. When nurse checked the monitors she never asked how I was doing, or if I needed anything, and didn't give feedback about the progress. When asked for anything, staff acted as if it was an imposition and taking away from more important things to do! Don't come here for treatment! It is worth the drive to be treated at a hospital that has staff who cares about the patient's well being. They didn't even have enough pillows!!!! Ghetto is the only word that can describe it.
