I recently started going to Dr. Turkington I felt that she was indifferent and cold, very quick to write prescriptions without tests or anything. The second time I went for a checkup because I had had stomach pains for a couple of weeks and it was getting worse and worse. I had notified the office previously to making an appointment. On the appointment day, Friday, I waited almost two hours! After bringing it to their attention twice, someone finally approached me only to say “we’re trying to get to you but because you were 10 mins late we may have to reschedule you for Monday” I was furious because I was already in pain and now they were going to make me wait the weekend to see me? Unbelievable. When I asked to see the manager, I was told to have a seat and she would be with me soon. I waited another 5 minutes and no one came out. I finally asked for my records and had to drive to Fairfax to see another doctor. The manager never called to offer an apology, I had to call only for her to tell me “well you were late and they should have told you that you needed to reschedule”. Very indifferent, this is how that office treats their patients.
