Description

One of the many benefits of having a Family Practice physician is that he/she is personally aware of your medical history. The FPP does not have to rely on interpreting another physician’s notes, and there’s no need to find another doctor as the patient grows older. The doctor, in many instances, has known the patient from birth, and is much attuned to the patient’s needs.

In addition, in many instances the FPP also serves as physician to the other members of the family, so they know the family dynamics, the illnesses and infections that may be affecting the parents and the ramifications that could have for the children in the home.
