History of Exempla Healthcare: Exempla Healthcare was formed in 1997 by the integration of Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado and Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. Both hospitals have received recognition in the 100 Top Hospitals study three times each in the last six years, proving Exempla's commitment to providing responsive health care in the communities we serve.
