Sterling is located in Logan County 120 miles Northeast of Denver approximately 1 1/2 hours from Denver International Airport. Sterling has many wonderful characteristics including a friendly small town atmosphere that is growing and changing with a low crime rate making it a great place to live for those raising kids, retirement, or anybody in between.
The city of Sterling offers many recreational activities for kids of all ages, including softball, tennis, volleyball, racquetball, swimming and basketball. There are also clubs and organizations that run various other recreational activities. North Sterling Reservoir State Park is 12 miles north of town, offering boating, fishing and camping.
