Your PositionProvide professional acupuncture services through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of clients. Meet the needs of clients and the multi-disciplinary team through communication, coordination, and documentation. Ensure the Exempla Touch by providing exemplary customer service. Provides active input to the development of idea and action plans to assure the Exempla touch. Assess, treat, and evaluate clients of Complementary Health and Healing within the scope of the Acupuncturists Practice Act for the State of Colorado. Communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team including client, family, physician, referral sources, team members, peers, support staff and management through written and verbal means. Document according to department policies and applicable regulations. Facilitate the delivery of age related care skills as defined by area patient population. Assist in creating a calm and healing environment for clients and staff. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements. Our RequirementsGraduate of an accredited or approved school acupuncture or traditional chinese medicine with a minimum of 1800 hours of training required. Registered acupuncturist in the State of Colorado required. National board certification by NCCA as a Diplomate of Acupuncture required. Demonstrates clean needle technique. Three to five years of experience practicing as an acupuncturist preferred. Acupuncturist with experience in an integrated clinic or healthcare setting preferred.
