Description:*** Central Distribution Supervisor [ 9586 ]***Works under the supervision and direction of the Central Distribution Manager. Oversees the operation of Central Distribution on assigned shifts as well as on call after hours. Schedules and directs workflow of Central Distribution staff. Assists with developing and adhering to the department budget and financial goal setting. Selects, trains, orients, evaluates and counsels subordinate personnel and maintains employee file information. Maintains inventory control for Central Distribution and all ancillary and nursing units. Maintains adequate and sufficient inventory of equipment, instruments, and supplies for Central Distribution to function efficiently to service patient care areas. Ensures adequate equipment and specialty bed rentals as needed. Supervises and coordinates department activities, staffing, projects and interdisciplinary teams for quality assurance and quality improvement.
