Description:*** Rad Tech IV - Ultrasound [ 9593 ]***9593Sonographer Technologist IV will, in collaboration with the team lead, practice and promote The Best in the Nation Service Behaviors, Strategies and Priorities. Perform a variety of Ultrasound procedures that utilize high frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels for the diagnosis of disease. Selects appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam. Receives patients, explains method of examination, and positions patient. Independently performs and completes routine examinations Meet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy and efficiency. Actively participates in quality initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction, highest level of patient care and workflow efficiencies.Minimum Requirements:One year Ultrasound experience•Must be RDMS Registered•Possess a high degree of knowledge concerning anatomy, pathology, and physiology•Thorough knowledge of radiation safety•Knowledge of ACR standards •ARRT(S) Registered
