Description:*** Payment Review Representative [ 9469 ]***Process payment review accounts, by payer, location and or provider in which payment has been received but is questionable to its’ accuracy per our contracts. Research and take appropriate action by way of appeals, adjustments if necessary, and resubmission of claims with additional documentation. Initiate proactive communications with the payers to obtain maximum reimbursement for accounts in question. Keep current in payer and contract renewals, updates, and billing policies. Accounts must be identified and followed up in an appropriate and timely manner. All correspondence and or action taken on an account must be documented in the computer system and/or filed appropriately. Provide feedback to Business Service management regarding problem payers and specific contract problems. Other duties as assigned.
