Coordinates, develops, maintains, and provides pharmacy services to patients throughout the integrated delivery network organization. Prepares and dispenses medication orders according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Supervises and directs activities of interns, technicians, and support personnel as required. Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients. Provides medication related clinical consultation and clarification to other health professionals. Develops and participates in activities designed to measure and improve the medication use process. Provides education and training to Pharmacy Department personnel as well as other health professionals. Maintains competence required for current job title/position and as related to the patient population served. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.Our RequirementsGraduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a five-year Bachelor of Science Degree required.· Licensure by the state of Colorado to practice pharmacy required.
