Description:*** Assessment & Referral Therapist II [ 9099 ]****Required to work a Minimum of 8 scheduled on-call shifts/month. Two (2) of these shifts must be nights. 12 hour Shifts-(7a-7p/7p-7a). Performs comprehensive psychiatric and chemical dependency evaluations for patients at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center,Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, and Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center. Completes an Exempla Behavioral Health Assessment, obtains collateral information when necessary, and develops diagnoses, risk assessment, and treatment plan recommendations. Is knowledgeable of and adheres to EHC policies and procedures and all pertinent state and federal regulatory standards (e.g. JCAHO, HCFA, EMTALA, ADAD, HIPAA). Minimum requirements:MUST HAVE A COLORADO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH LICENSES, SUCH AS LPC, LCSW, RN, LAC, PSYCHD, OR PHD. Excellent relationships with peers, patients and staff. Clinical skills to conduct psychiatric and chemical dependence evaluations.Masters level or equivalent in nursing, social work, psychology, counseling, or other human services field, with 3 years post-masters experience in psychiatric and chemical dependency assessment.MUST HAVE A COLORADO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH LICENSES, SUCH AS LPC, LCSW, RN, LAC, PSYCHD, OR PHD. Excellent clinical and relationship skills to conduct psychiatric and chemical dependence evaluations.Preferred qualifications: 5-7 years experience in behavioral health, with a preference for experience in Emergency Room and Medical floor environments.
