Description: Craig Hospital is an ideal environment to maximize your nursing career potential. Craig, unlike other rehabilitation facilities, is at the high acuity end of the rehabilitation spectrum. While expanding your abilities in the specialty of rehabilitation, you can utilize your acute skills in such areas as: neurological and neurosurgical nursing assessment, pre and post operative nursing, skin care, IV therapy, medication management, and respiratory care with state-of-the-art medical advances.
Patient and family education is also a center of focus for nursing practice at Craig. We look for those nurses who have the confidence to take on the medical challenges of the patients, the desire to work with catastrophically injured people in a caring and compassionate environment. Our interdisciplinary approach involves working closely with a variety of professionals to set the goals, develop treatment plans and monitor the progress of each patient.
Whether you are a new or experienced nurse, we offer a specialized orientation program designed to introduce you to our system of care. When you join the staff at Craig, you have the opportunity to participate and grow through patient/staff development. We also encourage our nurses to become nationally certified, and are very proud of the fact that over 75% of the nurses at Craig have achieved this certification.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current or pending Colorado nursing license, heavy work lifting abilities. Previous med/surg, neuro/ortho, or rehab nursing experience preferred, but not required.
Schedule: Currently, Craig Hospital has RN positions open on days, evenings, and nights. Various Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions are available.
