HOUSEKEEPER-NIGHT SHIFT
Description:
Performs cleaning functions in various areas of the facility. Maintains the assigned area in a clean and orderly fashion in accordance with departmental and hospital policy and procedures. Includes, wall washing, general floor care, cleaning in patient areas, procedure rooms, hospital corridors, cafeteria, and gym.
Responsibilities:
1. Has knowledge of and follows Craig Hospital's safety procedures
2. Performs routine daily cleaning including trash removal, dust mopping, waxing procedures and vacuuming.
3. Operates automatic floor machines and buffers.
4. Demonstrates understanding of job relative to hospital operations.
5. Prepares timely discharge cleaning for incoming patient room.
6. Reports visible needed repairs
7. Keeps utility carts stocked at all times
8. Cleans and returns all equipment after use
9. Performs other duties as necessary
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Experience: One year of housekeeping experience in hotel or hospital setting preferred but not required
