Job
Description:
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner provides advanced practice nursing and/or health care services to patients, including clinical assessments, diagnosing psychiatric and medical conditions, assessing emergencies and triaging appropriately; prescribes medications; monitors delivery of detoxification services; consults with clinical staff regarding patient assessment and treatment planning; rotates on after-hours, on-call psychiatric team; provides back-up to the Psychiatrist on inpatient units. Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university required; Licensed and prepared as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Colorado; certification as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse preferred.
