Using a low-dose dedicated mammography unit that follows guidelines set by the American College of Radiology and the Food and Drug Administration. Occupational health programs include medical surveillance examinations for employees Community public health services. An optometrist from Hawaii sees patients on Kwaj several times a year. E-mail consultations and video teleconferencing with Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, or other medical specialists, allows access to specialists for patients at Kwajalein who require supplementary evaluation. Periodically, specialists travel to Kwajalein for appointments.
